Kinder Surprise

Dessert circa 1990.

Hatching the Kinder egg.
Please don't be a jigsaw, please don't be a jigsaw.

Oh. It's a plastic crocodile.

Which turns into a van.

My boss brought us Kinder eggs when he was in London over Christmas and then a friend brought me some from Scotland in April :) Truthfully, the chocolate isn't very good, but the toys are so much fun!

I kinda like the chocolate in the same way that my favourite type of ice cream is that really chemically, artificial whippy type. Preferably direct from the machine into my mouth - cutting out the bowl middle man.

I have no taste!

And a lot of people thought they had stopped making Kinder eggs - the fools!

All of us have childhood memories that we cherish and very often there are little things such as smells and foods that take us back to our past. One such thing is kinder surprise manufactured by Ferrero, a mix of sweets and fun that has been putting smiles on children's faces ever since it was created. This simple product was able to survive harsh international competition for more then thirty years. Of course, this is due to the great quality of this product but at the same time Ferrero used a very effective marketing strategy to attract clients and to develop their loyalty.
